It won’t be long before basketball season is on us full force. NBA predictions will probably play a big part in your choice of teams and bets. This is true no matter what type of bet you choose to place.

If you are betting totals, then you really need to be sure that you look at many different sources for NBA predictions. Also be sure that you choose sources that have a proven track record for winning and reliability. It never hurts to do your own research into the teams as well…

Don’t base your bets strictly on the NBA predictions. You also need to watch the teams and the players as game time approaches. One injury to a key player can cause a team’s strategy to take a wild turn, making any early predictions very unreliable and worthy of a second look. Another side to this is that most bets are made ahead of time. If you are really alert, you may be able to capitalize on a player’s injury by shifting your money around to compensate for it. This can be a great way to rake in a little extra cash from your bet.

Another way to win big on NBA predictions is to look at the supposed underdog. Many bets go early based on early predictions. If you take a second look at an underdog team closer to game time and reevaluate their win-loss record and their players, you may find that they might be a good bet to come in as an underdog and bring in a lot of cash to you as the bettor.

Again, this is where injuries and player movement can be a big help to you if you look at both the NBA predictions and the current activities of the team and its players.
